Michael D. Bauer, MD
Dr. Bauer grew up in the Chicago area and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois. He joined Lake Forest Pediatrics in 1988 and is an assistant professor of pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Bauer is the chief of pediatrics at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, and is a past president of the medical staff and hospital board member. He has been a presenter at “House Calls” Women’s Health Advisory Council events and women’s hospital board meetings, and is actively involved with teaching pediatric residents at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. He enjoys cycling, physical fitness and all Chicago sports. Dr. Bauer and his wife have three children and have recently become proud grandparents.
