We are seeking compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioners to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality healthcare to children from infancy through adolescence. As an NP with our practice, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of pediatric illnesses, providing preventive care, and promoting overall wellness in our young patients.

 

About us:

We are an independent, physician-owned practice in the northern Chicagoland area and have been serving the area for 55 years. We’re closely affiliated with Northwestern Medicine and Lurie Children’s Hospital. We have a dedicated staff, with a nursing phone triage department (Patient Education), in-house billing, and on-site lab services.

 

Requirements:

  • Master or Doctorate of Nursing Practice
  • Valid Illinois medical license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
  • Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment

 

About the position:

  • Full- and part-time (min 2 days/week) opportunities are available
  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations of infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in pediatric patients.
  • Provide immunizations and vaccinations according to established guidelines.
  • Offer guidance and support to parents and caregivers on topics such as nutrition, development, and safety.
  • Monitor growth and development milestones, and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
  • Stay informed about advancements in pediatric medicine and incorporate best practices into patient care.
  • Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities.
