We are seeking a Payroll and Business Associate. Under the guidance of the Executive Director and in close coordination with Department Managers, the Payroll and Business Coordinator will be responsible for bi-weekly payroll processing, employee personnel file maintenance, facility management, and executive support.
About the position:
- Full-time (hybrid work environment)
- Process employee timesheets and check for accuracy
- Verify sick leave, vacation, and OT
- Generate bi-weekly payroll with third-party payroll processor
- Assist in payroll changes including new hires, terminations, etc
- Provide facility management support for 3 office locations
- Works on assigned projects inducing data compilation and assisting with business report preparation
- Other business support duties as needed
Requirements:
- High school degree (higher education preferred)
- 1+ years relevant experience
- Knowledge of payroll practices and procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and good judgment
- Demonstrable analytical thinking and business insight
- Ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality
