We are seeking a Payroll and Business Associate. Under the guidance of the Executive Director and in close coordination with Department Managers, the Payroll and Business Coordinator will be responsible for bi-weekly payroll processing, employee personnel file maintenance, facility management, and executive support.

 

About the position:

  • Full-time (hybrid work environment)
  • Process employee timesheets and check for accuracy
  • Verify sick leave, vacation, and OT
  • Generate bi-weekly payroll with third-party payroll processor
  • Assist in payroll changes including new hires, terminations, etc
  • Provide facility management support for 3 office locations
  • Works on assigned projects inducing data compilation and assisting with business report preparation
  • Other business support duties as needed

 

Requirements:

  • High school degree (higher education preferred)
  • 1+ years relevant experience
  • Knowledge of payroll practices and procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and good judgment
  • Demonstrable analytical thinking and business insight
  • Ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality
