Dr. Aubrey Matella joined Lake Forest Pediatrics in July 2025. She grew up in Schaumburg, Illinois. She completed her undergraduate degree at Rice University and her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She then returned to Chicago for her pediatrics residency at Lurie Children’s Hospital. Dr. Matella is a Cubs fan, an avid reader, and enjoys exploring Chicago’s restaurant scene and cheering on local sports teams with her husband, Andrew, and their Golden Retriever, Leo.
