Dr. Kaltman grew up in Cincinnati, OH, and earned his bachelor’s degree from Yale University. He began his career at the Rush Medical School in Chicago, where he worked in emergency and ambulatory pediatrics and as director of the pediatric residency training program. He joined Lake Forest Pediatrics in 1986 and is an assistant professor of clinical pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He is a past chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Kaltman and his wife have three children.
