Mary O’Malley, FNP-C, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University and her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Saint Xavier University in Chicago. She began her nursing career at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn, where she cared for patients on a pediatric cardiac step-down and medical-surgical unit. She later transitioned to outpatient pediatrics at Kids First Pediatric Partners in Skokie, IL, where she gained valuable experience in primary care and triage nursing.
Mary joined Lake Forest Pediatrics in 2025 after relocating to the Lake Bluff area, drawn by the practice’s strong reputation for compassionate, patient-centered care and its collaborative team environment. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their Maltipoo, Mackey, cheering on the Purdue Boilermakers, and hosting family gatherings and seasonal celebrations.
