The giveaways are open to all – you do not need to be a patient of our practice to be eligible to win. Happy Labor Day Weekend! We are here for you, offering family-focused pediatric care over the long holiday weekend.

Our Lake Bluff Office is open from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm for urgent care only. Please call us at 847-295-1220 at 8:00 am to make an appointment. No walk-in sick call will be available.

Our Lindenhurst and Vernon Hills offices will be closed.

It looks like the old adage remains true…In Chicago, there’s the winter season and then there’s road construction season. Road construction projects are in full swing here in Lake County.

Road resurfacing, realignment and reconstruction projects can really add to your commute time. Local trip times can be unpredictable. A quick drive over to the pediatrician’s office may take much longer than anticipated. This year, it’s especially true in the area of our Lindenhurst office. Road projects are impacting Grand Avenue and US Route 45, among others.

But there is help for navigating area road construction! Did you know there are helpful resources available online? Before heading out for your child’s appointment, check out these helpful online resources:

· The Village of Lindenhurst is posting road construction updates, including lane closure information, on their website home page. You can get updates about the Grand Avenue construction work near our Lindenhurst office.

Village of Lindenhurst also offers construction updates on their social media profiles. Follow the Village on Facebook or Twitter.

· Lake County’s interactive construction map is updated for the 2019 construction season.

Lake County Passage provides live updates of traffic conditions throughout the county. Maps include updates on traffic conditions, incidents/accidents, and road work. You can even see current live photos of conditions at key intersections.

· Illinois Department of Transportation’s website has current information on planned road closures and work zones, including official press releases and helpful maps.

· Google Maps also displays real-time traffic and assists in finding the quickest route. Get the app for your smart phone in the App Store for Apple, Google Play Store for Android, and others.

Summer road construction is taking place on Grand Avenue (Route 132) west of Route 45. The construction is causing delays on Grand Avenue and adjacent roadways. Click here for an interactive map of road conditions in the area.

Because of the road construction, our patients are experiencing delays in accessing our Lindenhurst Office. Please plan to add some extra travel time if you have an appointment at our Lindenhurst office.

Congratulations to Lake Forest Pediatric Associates’ pediatrician Dr. Jeff Roleck, who finished the 41st Chicago Marathon on Sunday, October 7th!

Wet paving and the occasional sprinkles didn’t dampen Dr. Roleck’s enthusiasm for the popular athletic event! Starting and finishing in Grant Park, he ran the 26.2-mile course through 29 picturesque Chicago neighborhoods. An estimated 1.7 million spectators enthusiastically supported the runners by ringing bells, clapping, holding up signs, and shouting kind words of support.

This was Dr. Roleck’s 4th Chicago Marathon finish. All of us at Lake Forest Pediatric Associates are so proud of Dr. Roleck’s accomplishment!

Our new phone system will be installed on Tuesday, August 28th! We’re excited that the new phone system will provide our pediatric practice with advanced technology, improved reliability, and innovative communications features.

We have been assured that our internet and phone systems will be unaffected during the transition, until the actual cut over is made at approximately 4:00 pm. The transition work is expected to take up to two hours to complete. During that time, we will not have phone service.

We’re excited to announce that our phone system will be updated soon! The new Comcast phone system will bring advanced technology, improved reliability, and innovative communications features to our pediatric practice.

We are in the final stages of making the transition from our AT&T system to the new Comcast system. We expect to finalize the transition to the new phone system on Tuesday, August 28th, sometime after 4:00 pm. The transition work is expected to take up to two hours to complete.
